Pegasus.

This is a new seedling.   The tube and sepals are pink.   It is a double flowered cultivar with lovely pale blue petals to the corolla.    These are very loose but the important feature is that the colour of these petals stays true through to maturity.  Most blue fuchsias are affected by the dominance of the red gene and quickly change to magenta.   From the photo you will see the anthers are fully open indicating the flower is past its best but still retains its colour.    It is still under test and is being considered for dedication to the Parachute Regiment to which I once belonged.    These are the Airborne Colours.   Look out for it in the future.
