                          Marcus Hanton.

A medium flowered full double fuchsia of perfect form and shape. The tube and sepals are dark pink with a perfectly formed corolla of dark blue. Royal Air Force colours. The sepals fly sufficiently to show off the corolla. A very vigorous fuchsia which needs to be grown cool. Produces two flowers in each leaf axil and makes a lovely show plant. It is also excellent as a second year plant in a container. If grown well it will produce up to three flowers in each leaf axil. Well shown and has taken many top awards. Not as easy as some but well worth the trouble. Makes a very good standard. Upright. Named after a Royal Air Force Harrier Jet Pilot killed during a training flight. His Harrier Jet disappeared from radar whilst flying over the North Sea. Marcus and his Observer were never found. Named at the request of his sister Elizabeth.
