Lillian Annetts
This cultivar, like many I have released, was used to raise money for
Charity. This one was donated to the 'Ormskirk Cardiac Support
Foundation'.
The naming of this cultivar was raffled.
The winner named it after his wife, Lillian Annetts.
All the raffle money and the cash from sales of cuttings were
donated to this Charity. This
is a must for every fuchsia grower.
It has been in the British Fuchsia Society 'Top Ten' since the year 1999
and in 2006 is still holding it's position. It is an
exceptional cultivar. It is ideal for any shape,
basket, standard or bush. It is genetically perfect and so
easy to grow and shape. I can't fault this
cultivar. The tube is white striped green. The sepals
are white crepe tipped green and fly beautifully to cover the tube to
expose the petals of the corolla. The corolla is
very compact and the colours change with light intensity.
A cultivar that will stand the test of time.
