This is another sport from that great cultivar Beacon.  The photo shows all the detail.    It is a true, very floriferous single with a compact habit that make it well worth growing.   Beacon has been a favorite of exhibitors for some time now and I am sure this one will take its fair share of awards.  It has been compared with Beacon Rosa and differs in many respects.    The petals of the corolla take on a purple  tinge.   This sport was found on Beacon at a flower show - I was charged with the task of saving and propagating.    It was an easy task - It is well worth growing.     On release for 2002
