Crosby Soroptimist.

This fuchsia is a show quality fuchsia and had won many awards nationwide.     It is a true single with a short tube and pink sepals with a centre scarlet vein in the centre.     The petals of the single corolla are cream veined pink which is complimented  with burgundy anthers and stigma.

It has a compact growth pattern which is easy to shape.    An excellent show variety that also makes an excellent standard.    The flowers are also compliment by extremely dark green foliage.   Very easy to grow and propagate.

It was  named  and  dedicated  to the local   'Crosby Soroptimist Society' at the request of the late Mrs. Margaret Berger, a past President of this Society.     Margaret, a lovely lady, was also the Secretary of Merseyside Fuchsia Group.    She was also instrumental in the naming of the fuchsia.
