Audrey
Byrne
New seedling for release 2002/3 season.
This cultivar is a semi-double with great vigour. The
pedicel is short and very strong holding the flower away from the foliage. It has a short baby pink tube with wide sepals which recurve beautifully to cover the tube exposing a bell shaped corolla of rich cream. The petals of the corolla are complimented by sepaliods which give the flower extra body. Short jointed compact growth make this a very good candidate for the show bench. Very easy to grow and shape. It produces two flowers in each leaf axil. Grows well outside and should prove very popular for the patio garden and bedding. Has already been exhibited with success. One to look out for.
