Seedling - Code name 'Alaska'
Not yet named. An attack by
vine weevil almost destroyed my stock plant. I was lucky to
save it. This put back testing for two years.
Again, this one follows that lovely trait where the sepals fly back to
cover the tube thus doubling the size of the flower.
This is a true single with pale pink sepals which roll back to expose a true single bell shaped corolla of blushed white.
It is a bush plant which would also make a good standard.
Produces two flowers in each leaf axil. The flowers are
supported by short strong pedicels. The
compact growth is not suitable for basket work but should prove ideal for
bedding and containers. Medium dark green foliage.
Maybe one for 2003.
