About the Author - David Clark.

The Author resides in Crosby, on the outskirts of Liverpool, Merseyside.  He has served in the Army with The Royal Corps of Signals Regiment and later The Parachute Regiment.   A retired Police Officer having served 30 years in Liverpool City Police/Merseyside Police.   He has been involved  in all aspects of fuchsia growing for the past 50 years. This includes growing and exhibiting at both Local and National levels with many Best in Show awards at B.F.S. and other National Shows.   He is also an Accredited  B.F.S. Judge, Lecturer and Hybridist.  Past Showground Director of Southport Flower Show  and has been involved and instrumental  in forming new Fuchsia Societies. The latest being Cymdeithas Ffiwsia [Mona Fuchsia Society] situated on the Isle of Anglesey, North Wales.   He is currently President of Cymdeithas Ffiwsia Society, President of Thornton & Crosby Gardeners Club, Vice President Merseyside Fuchsia Society, past President Wigan Fuchsia Society and Fylde Fuchsia Society. 

This Web site will include all the new cultivars raised to-date  including those still being tested.  It will also include illustrated lecture notes on growing, showing and hybridizing.     Check Neapolitan, the fuchsia with a delicate perfume.
